As an ACE Provider at Dane Street, you play a pivotal role in the Veterans’ Benefits Administration (VBA) claims process. Your primary responsibility is to conduct a thorough and impartial file review of a veteran’s claim, specifically focusing on the information contained within the Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) and all accompanying medical records. This process is utilized by the VBA when they have opted out of scheduling an in-person, hands-on examination, making your expert, evidence-based medical opinion crucial. The work is non-examining, meaning you render your medical opinion based entirely on existing medical evidence.
